I'm being fostered in Hawarden, IA! Update from my foster home: Fraulien aka Fru or Fuffy is selective about her doggy friends. We had to leash and watch her for 10 days to integrate her into our pack, but now she is fine with all of our dogs. She doesn't show well at meet and greets because of this, but she loves puppies. She loved Shelton and Zuri immediately when we brought them home and has been great if someone brings a puppy around a meet and greet. I think she can tell the difference between a puppy and a small dog. Small dogs depends on the other dog. Fru has met one cat and seemed afraid of it, she really shows no prey drive. Fru has only been around Chance, who is 15, but doesn't seem to mind the kids at meet and greets and shows no fear of anyone. Fru doesn't require a fence, but just in case it is a good idea. Fru would be great in an apartment. She rarely barks, doesn't mind her crate, and is a lazy lap dog. Fru has no medical issues or anxiety. She has initiated play with our dogs and likes chew toys, although she will guard a bone. She would be fine as a spoiled, only dog or with could be introduced slowly to another dog in the home. She will just need an understanding owner that will take the time to introduce and integrate her properly. Fru would be great for an inactive family. No dog park or long walks for her. She loves running in her yard with the pups but doesn't require a lot of exercise. Fuffy also loves to give and receive hugs from her people. Fräulein is great. Any family would be lucky to have her. She is a big ball of love and fun. I am housebroke and crate trained. I get along with other dogs, however you need to be patient with me as I take a while to warm up to new friends. Once I'm use to them I am happy to have friends, it's just the getting to know you part with other dogs that I'm not the best at. I've met some cats and didn't try to eat them, I don't really mind if they are around. I love to give hugs and love people. I also ride great in the car. Do you need a co-pilot? Hi I'm Fraulein! I was found roaming the streets in Kansas and taken to a shelter. I was in pretty bad shape with a prolapsed uterus and bumps on my ears. An angel saw that I was a very sweet girl in need of saving. I'm better now! I've been spayed and the bumps on my ears are gone too. I'm looking for a furever home. Check back for more updates on me!
