Hi! Meg here. My brother Herc and I are two classic fawn kidos (born 8/09) and are from the same litter. They were originally in rescue about 3 years ago when they were adopted together. Their family has had a change in circumstances and is no longer able to keep them. They are both bonded and would love to be adopted together again. They were separated when first placed with the rescue and both were very sad. They absolutely love each other and follow each other everywhere. They are very protective of each other, especially around other dogs. They do well with other dogs separately but gang up when together. Meg loves to be outside and Herc prefers to be inside. The love walks and we have a double leash but it is easier to walk them on their own leashes. Meg does much better on the leash than Herc does. They absolutely love to run out in the country on the dirt roads for exercise, especially in the winter. They lived with a cat for the past 3 years and did just fine. They are great with kids and currently live with an 8 month old. They are used to lots of kids being around. Meg gets a little cranky from all the noise and chaos but Herc doesn't mind at all. If Meg is trying to "get away" from the kids we usually just put the dogs into a bedroom so she can have a little piece and quiet. She does not like to be pushed on or pushed around by kids. They know many commands and respect us when eating. They are easily trained and catch on quick. Both are very healthy.
